Job Description

Merkle is seeking a Salesforce Architect to provide implementation expertise for the Salesforce CX practice. The Salesforce Architect works within the Engineering department, while collaborating with the Salesforce CX practice, designing, and implementing solutions for customers on the Salesforce suite of core solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud). The Salesforce Architect is competent in the core Salesforce cloud offerings and an expert in Salesforce development architecture, languages, and practices. This person must have strong communication, time management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment. This is a great opportunity to work on delivering solutions in a variety of industries. Salesforce Architects typically engage on a project basis as part of the Implementation Team and collaborate with both Merkle teammates and Salesforce customers.

Responsibilities

  • Solution design, architecture and Implementation of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud projects
  • Working with sales, account, and solutions team on new business pitches and opportunities
  • Estimating development tasks during discovery, scoping, planning and development stages
  • Collaborate with other technical leaders on internal initiatives to improve methodologies and processes
  • Migrating and deploying solutions between environments
  • Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Build proof-of-concepts to reduce risk and increase client and team buy-in
  • Coach and lead teams in planning, implementing, and delivering high quality solutions utilizing coding best practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of related professional experience
  • At least 5 years for application development experience
  • Salesforce certifications are a huge plus
  • Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Platform Cloud and Community Cloud product competency
  • Apex, Visualforce, and salesforce.com API development
  • Strong SOQL/SOSL and relational databases experience.
  • Front-End web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc) knowledge
  • Lightning Web Components experience
  • Ability to lead and effectively manage technical discussions including communicating data requirements to a wide range of audiences
  • Proficiency working to produce data mappings, architecture designs, salesforce management recommendations and security best practices.
  • Four-year college degree (computer science, computer technology or similar degree)

Additional Information

For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
