We are looking for a UX Designer, or User Experience Designer, to assist in the development of digital user-centered design for a wide range of clients and disciplines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and can think critically and creatively to solve problems. It is important that this individual possess effective written, verbal and visual communication skills as well as research strategies. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in UX best practices across multiple interactive platforms including email, social media, web design, ecommerce and mobile.

The UX Designer is responsible for monitoring user experience and ensuring that websites, software programs, emails and other digital products are well-thought out and are easy to use. Duties include reviewing user feedback to determine potential defects or areas for clarity, working closely with other IT professionals and company personnel to refine user experience and performing usability tests on software products or website features to ensure functionality.

Job Description

 

  • Create engaging user experiences
  • Interact with clients
  • Implement research strategies
  • Clearly articulate design rationale, decisions and process
  • Analyze web interfaces for usability/user experience issues
  • Conceptualize and execute wireframes based on suggested improvements
  • Work closely with copywriters, designers, engineers and UI developers to ensure seamless execution of designs
  • Identify target user groups and carry out interviews or other types of research
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
  • Ensure the creation of customized experiences for users
  • Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps
  • Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages and banners
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
  • Work with graphic and UI designers, copywriters, strategists and client services peers to collaborate and deliver
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, experience design or other related field
  • Experience analyzing existing web interfaces for usability and user experience issues
  • Experience developing wireframes, moodboards/storyboards and concepts
  • In-depth knowledge in UX tools like Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe CS and related design tools.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/Prototypes a plus.

For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
