Job Description

Customer Experience Management (CXM) is the data-driven, technology-enabled and customer-centric strategy, design, and execution of end-to-end customer experiences across marketing, sales, service, and commerce, achieved by an adaptive organization.

CXM requires businesses to make sense of an increasingly complex and fragmented landscape of data and marketing technology platforms and Merkle’s Technology Consulting team exists to be at the forefront of this challenge. We bridge technology strategy across the functional areas of Merkle, working closely with experts across a wide range of specialisms to help businesses accelerate and scale the business value they generate from effectively using their first-party data and technology, and partnering with them long-term to achieve measurable value outcomes for their consumers and shareholders.

The Technology Consultant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of transformational projects with a variety of enterprise clients spending time with client stakeholders up to VP-level to understand current challenges and need states.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

·     Support the discovery process by attending interviews and workshops with key stakeholders to generate use cases in the context of the customer lifecycle 

·     Deliver end-to-end assessments and analyses of market-leading technology vendors to determine the best fit based on bespoke client business requirements & use cases

·     Collaborate with implementation teams to design future-proofed strategic solutions to drive more value from existing data & technology and optimize customer experiences.

Additionally, the Technology Consultant will play an important role in the internal development of our Technology Consulting proposition by staying current on industry insights and innovation in the CXM world and sharing your perspective with the wider business and with clients

Qualifications

What we are looking for in you

  • Passionate about customer experience, digital transformation and driving change
  • Experience in designing and/or deploying marketing technology solutions such as Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Customer Experience Platforms, Data Management Platforms, Marketing Clouds or Analytics Platforms.
  • Understanding of how to map technology stack architecture, including integrations, it’s highly desirable. Experience in delivering on the above is not essential.
  • Some hands-on knowledge within the Salesforce or Adobe technology stacks is preferable.
  • Specific experience with any of the following (or similar) would be a considered a strong plus: Adobe Experience Platform, Pega, Salesforce CDP, Salesforce Interaction Studio, Thunderhead, Exponea, Tealium, Boxever, Segment, mParticle, ActionIQ, Kitewheel, Sitecore, Usermind, Optimove
  • Able to work well under pressure, with a high degree of flexibility and fluidity
