Job Description

Are you looking for the big next opportunity in your media career? Do you have what it takes to be a leader for both a global client and a global agency team? If so, we should connect.

Our B2B Digital Media Director will lead one of the agency’s newest B2B client accounts, which operates across all regions. As this is a new client, we need a true professional who has proven themselves as a strategic thinker, team leader, polished presenter and someone who is not afraid to take risks along the way. You will act as the connective tissue within the business to ensure seamless transition of all information, data and business outcomes and will coordinate with our regional media and clients to ensure delivery across all client needs.

You will be responsible for developing high-level strategic relationships within the client company, offering counsel, direction and guidance across all regions, remaining aligned with the regional marketing and media leads within both Merkle B2B and the client company. You must act as the day to day lead on the business to ensure faultless paid media plans are delivered in all regions globally.

You will build and foster an office environment that yields strong media team performance and client growth. You will the tone for the media account as a whole, generating enthusiasm and commitment to client business performance. We're looking for someone who looks for and delivers new and innovative solutions to client issues and challenges. As a strategic partner, you will direct client to account expansion via best practices and answers the needs of the client’s business via marketing. You will also be responsible for contributing to overall business growth via account expansion.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ digital media experience, with at least several years focused on B2B
  • Exceptional leadership skills and management experience, demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes
  • Excellent understanding of the global media business and it’s day-to-day operations
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellence in managing profitability and responsibility for driving revenue generation within media teams
  • Ownership of department/agency initiative recommendations and implementation. Ability to understand and promote multiple disciplines across the media and marketing business.
  • Strong track record in B2B technology accounts and understanding of relevant client challenges
  • Excellent track record of maintaining multiple client engagements at once, growing client business,  diversification into multiple products and services
  • History of leading and winning new business
