Job Description

*This person can work remotely but has to be available for Central Time Zone business hours*

The Account Manger exhibits the necessary skills of the account discipline. This person is a builder of the client relationship, a digital marketer, a company facilitator, and an opportunist that helps grow the business. This position also demonstrates the ability to use key tenets of project management, including project definition, scope and risk management; strategy, including understanding of business objectives; measurement and analysis and team management. 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Immerses self in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, industries; also knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like 

  • Skillful collaborator, with a keen analytical eye and can work across multiple lines of business (clients) and internal departments in developing strategies to help deliver against client goals  

  • Supports the Associate Director in the execution of the day-to-day projects by contributing ideas and promote team culture that positively impact overall team business goals  

  • Owns, manages and delivers against a 30–45-day initiatives in support of Paid Search & website marketing campaigns built in collaboration with the cross-functional teams  

  • Actively manage client expectations and effectively communicate changes to plans  

  • Understanding of the digital marketing channel and its role in support of business/financial objectives and the larger business picture and Works collaboratively to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results 

  • Possesses and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the dynamics of the client’s business, including competitive landscape 

  • Leads preparation for and participates in quarterly business review meetings and other client meetings as required (including new business pitches) 

  • Builds trust and maintains strong relationships with clients and internal cross-functional team members  

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing digital marketing initiatives, specifically related to integrated marketing campaigns  

  • 2-3 years agency experience required, in one or more disciplines  

  • Ability to manage multiple work streams to complete projects successfully  

  • Experience working with financial data and maintaining budgets 

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges 

  • Detail-oriented and a strong planner  

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Experience presenting information both orally and in writing  

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation 

  • Bachelor’s degree, in related field preferred
