Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as a SME for Project Management team members with client issues 
  • Assist with organizational oversight of project delivery and budgets
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services on new opportunities to ensure feasibility of timelines and budgets
  • Oversee project related resource allocation practices across the organization and interface with cross-functional managers to ensure needs are clearly defined and accounted for in internal systems
  • Review opportunity pipeline and ensure appropriate staffing and onboarding procedures are followed
  • Escalate organizational risk concerns and assist with executive management expectation management
  • Provide oversight into DEG delivery methodologies and contribute to their on-going governance and evolution
  • Continually evaluate and elevate the Project Management offerings and capabilities
  • Create project timelines and resource plans as necessary
  • Develop creative solutions to aid in the handling difficult situations or circumstances
  • Manage the onboarding of new Project Management team members
  • Manage existing Project Management staff, inclusive of one-on-ones, performance reviews and training/career growth plans
  • Assign and allocate Project Management staff effectively across the organization

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Ability to look at a situation and quickly identify a solution
  • Ability to work with a diverse team
  • Self-starter that does not wait for direction but jumps in and starts running
  • Clear communication skills, ability to segment ideas and requirements
  • Experience leading a high-performing Project Management team
