Dentsu MCGARRYBOWEN is looking for a Performance Media Supervisor with experience in multiple digital media disciplines.  This person will be managing the planning and buying of Search Engine Marketing, Paid Social, Native, and other digital media programs for top tier clients in Canada. The Performance Media Supervisor will support the team in all aspects of operation, including ensuring the timely delivery of all client requirements; analyzing campaign performance and performing optimizations; helping to create and deliver campaign performance reports; and providing regular input of ideas for best practices and process improvement. Job Description

  • Develop performance media strategies/plans that maximize our clients’ profit
  • Work with Performance Media Analysts to identify and perform campaign optimizations
  • Forecast the results media plans, and set KPI targets that lead to attainable growth
  • Partner with vendors to develop best-in-class capabilities and gain access to new opportunities and first-mover advantages
  • In connection with Performance Media Analysts, contribute to client reports through forming actionable insights
  • Coach and mentor Performance Media Analysts through complex challenges, giving them the skills, motivation, and confidence to develop in their careers
  • Contribute to the continual refinement of internal processes to improve efficiency and client performance
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of each area of the agency’s resources, to evaluate recommendations before they are delivered to the client
  • Proactively find new ways to build the client’s business and grow the account
  • Master and maintain vast knowledge of the client’s business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
  • Continually learn and enhance skills related to performance media methodologies and platforms
  • Manage and optimize client budgets to support set KPI targets
  • Communicate strategies/plans with the client for alignment before executing with the Performance Media Analysts

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of work experience is required
  • Strong mathematical & analytical mindset and interest in data analysis
  • Strong experience in Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform and Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of programmatic display is an asset
  • Strong skills in MS Excel
  • Experience leveraging insights from multi-touch attribution models in media planning
  • Experience in developing audience strategies and full funnel media programs that nurture leads from awareness to action
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills, particularly the ability to organize information succinctly and logically
  • Comfortable ideating, creating and conducting presentations to internal teams & clients
  • “Can-do” attitude and proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability and experience working in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Keen interest and passion for all things digital marketing
  • A sense of curiosity, and desire to innovate/test new approaches
  • Strong understanding of the latest developments in newly available privacy controls (iOS14, Intelligent Tracking Prevention, etc.), and privacy-safe solutions to maintain media efficacy.
