*While this position is remote the person will need to sit in Chicago or Atlanta. Chicago is our preferred location*

We have an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Client Services Professional to work on a brand with multiple sub-brands under it across a large internal and external team.  In this role, the Associate Account Director will focus on performance media , primarily Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic. This person will get to lead our internal teams and build client relationships across all media disciplines, managing a cross-functional team to producing exceptional work. Also developing a healthy, trustworthy team and client bonds while assuming responsibility for most day-to-day client contact and cross-functional team operations.  Our ideal person will have a strong digital media background to effectively lead client and team and experience with local/DMA media strategies.

The Associate Account Director will manage business growth and lead the agency-client relationship for a specific account or brand(s) within a larger account.  Unlocking our clients’ business opportunities, building, and managing a team, and delivering outstanding client service along with innovative solutions and offerings is the core function of this role. Lastly, this person will get to work closely with Group Account Director to oversee and be eyes/ears on the ground in the day-to-day management of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years digital media experience preferably in an agency environment
  • Digital experience required (performance media paid search, paid social, programmatic)
  • \Experience working on performance/direct response focused media accounts and understanding of the space and processes to facilitate team direction and management to on-time, flawless deliverables
  • Strong understanding of and experience with media planning, activation, and measurement, across digital media channels particularly Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Paid Social, Display, Streaming Audio, and Streaming Video 
  • Experience learning and balancing multiple and differing disciplines and teams
  • Experience understanding and interpreting data to clearly communicate results
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
