Job Description

Reporting to the Director of User Experience, the UI designer is passionate about great design and frictionless user experiences,  has a superb aesthetic sense and a deep appreciation for uncovering simple solutions to complex problems. The position requires an interest in current web and online trends and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively. The applicant will work directly with creative directors, account managers, project managers, and clients to design engaging websites, effective microsites, and landing pages and generate graphic design-based work (ads, banners, logos, template documents, etc.).  

Responsibilities 

  • Rapid prototyping and designing high-fidelity wireframes for websites and applications
  • Interact with stakeholders (including client partners) to design and execute UI kits 
  • Incorporate site analytics knowledge and customer feedback and apply them intelligently into iterative design solutions that optimize existing features and functionality 
  • Quickly assimilate complex and ambiguous ideas and propose elegant design solutions 
  • Collaborate with the development team to roll out the MVP 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing innovative and visually stunning user-experiences 
  • Degree in visual design or interaction design (or equivalent) 
  • Outstanding design portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative design solutions that showcase a diverse range of styles 
  • Experience working in modern design toolkits (e.g. Figma, UXPin, Sketch) and design handoff tools (Avocode, Zeplin) 
  • Experience incorporating pre-built design systems (e.g. Ant) 
  • Experience working with dedicated prototyping tools (e.g. ProtoPie, Principle, Origami) 
  • Ability to create final graphic assets for flawless design implementation 
  • Exceptional understanding of web design and user experience disciplines and principles (typography, composition, information architecture, color, animation, affordance, consistency, usability, etc.) 
  • The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work and perform tasks independently  
  • A natural diplomat with strong communication, coordination, scheduling, collaboration skills and the ability to stay highly organized are critical
