Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Director of Sales Development to join our growing Sales team! The ideal candidate will preferably have a minimum 2-3+ years of PROVEN experience managing and growing a team of sales development representatives.  Experience in the eCommerce space is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities will include:

  • Aggressively prospect for new clients leveraging email and cold call tactics (the cold calls and our team of outsourcers).

  • Manage, hire, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives.

  • Report on weekly activity for both the team and individuals.

  • Identify and strategically make recommendations for areas of improvement.

  • Motivate and lead fellow team members on different projects. 

  • Lead a team of 9-10 sales development representatives to set 270-300 new meetings per month for the sales team

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience managing and growing a team of Sales Development Representatives.

  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual with a strong work ethic.

  • eCommerce experience specifically in understanding the eCommerce ecosystem is a huge plus.

  • Digital Marketing experience is a plus (SEO, PPC, Display, Social Media).

  • Proficient in reporting and analytics/ and using an outreach tool (we use salesloft)

  • Able to lead strategy, A/B test email content and subject lines

  • Proficient in CRM (hubspot ideally) as we use them, but CRM experience is a must

  • Work with the Sales and media teams in order to create new email content to test messaging

  • High energy and positive attitude.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

  • Good time management with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to be a strong team leader, while keeping great communication with your team.
