Job Description

We are made up of experienced creatives and thinkers with a love for design. At the heart of our work is an understanding of current trends, a knowledge of what works, and our passion to have fun and do great work.

You will work with the Content/Creative teams and senior design staff to support the articulation of multiple creative products through design from motion graphics to specific graphic elements (print, digital, social) and presentation mockups, graphics and materials. This candidate can be based in Westport, CT or the NYC area. 

You will:

  • Work with your co-workers on briefs and brainstorms to produce inventive, thoughtful, on brand work for MKTG's premiere client roster
  • Envision creative solutions, and produce multiple creative design options for several existing clients and new business for digital, animation, and print applications
  • Concept and design content for all social platforms, with an emphasis on motion graphics and occasional video content, visual effects, animation, and 3D motion graphics when needed.
  • Provide guidance to the junior members of the design team
  • Design decks for new business pitches that reflect our values
  • Present work to clients, executive team, or account team and support your design with firm rationale
  • Research and share competitive activity, industry trends, and creative inspiration

Qualifications

You have:

  • 3+ years working within a design firm, digital/social/advertising agency, or other creative team environments
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, updates, rules, and limitations
  • Insight on industry innovations and social media and general design trends
  • Work with all levels of management
  • A portfolio demonstrating diverse solutions and projects, especially with motion graphics/animation
  • Advanced skill level with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and experience creating decks in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides
  • Experience with Typography
  • Nice to have: Working knowledge in Cinema 4D
