Job Description

The Digital & Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for bought, owned and earned media management on behalf of our brands across dentsu Media. This role reports to dentsu Media’s Senior Marketing Director, based in the New York area.

This role requires driving campaigns that meet dentsu Media’s marketing KPIs and make a measurable impact on our business. This position plays an integral role within the marketing team to deliver business impact, including lead generation and increased engagement and brand awareness.

We are seeking a creative, organized and detail-oriented team member to help support and amplify the agency's eminence initiatives through high-visibility marketing and social campaign initiatives. This individual must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong project management capabilities, and an eye for design. As part of dentsu Media’s marketing and communications team, this position works closely with team leads to ideate and plan social campaigns and will work with both internal and external resources to execute, owning the content curation/creation, timelines and processes. The ideal candidate will be eager and willing to roll up their sleeves, learn and try new things, and get stuff done.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute digital media campaigns, which may include bought and owned strategy development, account setup, organization, and management; including but not limited to the management of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google Ads
  • Management of owned media channels, including updated content on website, community management and organic posting on social media channels, as well as optimizing all owned media channels to work in tandem with paid media channels, Salesforce and Pardot
  • Manage marketing automation platform (Pardot) by creating new email campaigns, managing contact lists, and analyzing performance metrics
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on digital marketing campaign results including data analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in addition daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions and bid management
  • Consistently test and learn new social platforms and best practices; make strategic recommendations for new approaches, channels and campaigns that help drive business goals
  • Daily communication with Marketing leads on digital marketing initiatives, including best practices and assisting with presentation decks and strategy plans, in conjunction with other channels and team members
  • Maintain accurate project plans to update Marketing team on status of campaigns including ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Effectively prioritize efforts based on agency marketing goals and objectives in collaboration with the larger team
  • •Understand brand, vision, values and structure and how they relate to project goals and work collaboratively with others to achieve results
  • In collaboration with the larger marketing team, build trust and maintain relationships with clients, media partners and partner agencies
  • Manage digital marketing and lead generation efforts on behalf of the agency’s products and services, including creation of marketing assets, copy writing, strategic targeting, and execution of paid social
  • Maintain the agency’s websites, working with developers and designers on ongoing redesigns and updates

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business management
  • 2-4 years’ experience in digital marketing, including social media community management or paid social
  • Demonstrated decision making and independent judgment
  • Aptitude in data analysis and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Basic understanding of integrated digital performance marketing services such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management and Display Marketing
  • Ability to learn content management systems for website maintenance and marketing automation systems
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Programs, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of integrity and self-motivation
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a small team
