About the Job

We are currently looking for a Marketing Technology Lead to join dentsu Canada and directly work with Labatt Breweries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of MarTech platforms and automation strategies through various marketing technologies.

This position is a permanent position at dentsu with the opportunity to be transferred to client-side after 9-12 months. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead local consumer data integration, cleansing & harmonization routines
  • Responsible for global MarTech & Adtech platform deployment
  • Select local MarTech & AdTech platforms to support specific local needs & regulations
  • Responsible for global data taxonomy deployment for websites and media campaigns
  • Develop & implement consumer data acquisition strategy
  • Lead data integration and match with 3rd party data sources
  • Develop consumer data activation strategy & drive implementation across stakeholders  
  • With support from the trainers, develop and maintain end-user reference materials, reporting templates, documentation, guides, policies, and procedures about marketing technologies. Provide initial and ongoing CRM and marketing technologies training to members of the network.
  • Responsible for conducting the system administration tasks such as assessment and evolution related to marketing technologies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third party marketing technology vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee the Data Quality, including the collection and maintenance of complete, consistent and compliant data (via Treasure Data). Provide guidance and direction to the Media team and all third-party data providers across each line of business.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams & digital activation teams to oversee audience-centric measurement & reporting
  • Lead projects related to the firm-wide use of the CDP system and supporting marketing technologies.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to research, compile recommendations and best practices about data privacy and compliance.
  • Lead data privacy & compliance tool implementation.
  • Responsible for ensuring analytics and optimization tools are appropriately integrated with marketing technologies (including Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Treasure Data, Adobe Audience Manager where applicable).
  • Design and develop marketing technology protocols, procedures, training and user guidelines.
  • Be an advocate within the organization by presenting and socializing the current and new capabilities being built and how they can unlock growth opportunities for different functions within the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Technology, or related field. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within a digital marketing environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of marketing technologies and marketing automation principles.
  • Must have experience with Adobe Launch, Google Analytics, and other Tag Manager platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with a CDP, DMP (ex. Krux), web analytics platform (ex. Google / Adobe Analytics) and media buying platforms (ex. Google, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Ability to query transactional, loyalty & web analytics raw data using SQL. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Adobe Launch is a big plus!
  • Ability to analyse data and create reports with findings
  • Produce high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
  • Able to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
