Job Description

Carat is looking to add a Manager, Paid Search to its team, supporting one of its largest clients, a well-known global tech company. Reporting to the Account Director, Paid Search, this client-facing role is a balance of analytical and executional, where you will be a mentor to junior teammates, managing and designing projects to meet client goals.

 

You Will:

  • Monitor, report, and optimize campaigns to performance goals
  • Provide insights on campaign and marketplace trends, and present these insights to the client
  • Create and interpret performance reports to provide actionable insights
  • Ensure campaigns use best practice PPC automated bidding guidelines
  • Help execute PPC campaigns; account setup, uploading keywords, ad creatives and ad extensions, strategy, and tactical development, and organization
  • Produce raw data to create performance reports
  • Attend and contribute to weekly calls and meetings
  • Build strong relationships across PPC and Client Services teams
  • Mentor junior team members to ensure they are meeting account expectations in relation to performance
  • Work with director level to coordinate client direction and design executions

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2-3+ years of paid search experience (where paid search was the predominant part of your responsibilities)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Comfort managing client communication without requiring Account Supervisor involvement
  • 1+ years of experience drawing important analysis from data and making specific recommendations – i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
  • Well versed in client KPI's, specifically in Direct Response
  • An understanding of Display Media, SEO, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution and influence on Paid Search Activities
  • Client-facing presentation experience
  • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and AdWords Certification

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
