Job Description

Our East Coast-based dentsuX team is looking to add a Senior Associate Media Planner to their team. This is a fully remote role located on the East Coast. We work in an Agile environment; you will choose to work from home or go to your local dentsu office if you are within 50 miles of one. Even in a remote setting we are a close-knit team that values collaboration and partnership with each other.

Supporting a QSR Client, the Senior Associate Media Planning is the daily focal point to the account. You will have daily responsibility for the assigned account and are expected to understand our client's overall business and marketing objectives. Reporting to the Media Director you will steward the tactical communications planning process and provide recommendations to the senior media team and client.

Communications Planning

  • Oversee trafficking keeping clients aware of creative needs and deadlines, reviewing creatives, and sharing with vendors.
  • Create campaigns in Prisma, issues MAFS and IOs, make sure campaigns match budget doc.
  • Aid in the creation of client media communication plan objectives
  • Create media plans, flowcharts, activation plans, buying guidelines, testing plans and result analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and competitive reports
  • Work with outside media partners to report on managed service media plans
  • Contribute to existing and emerging communications opportunities relevant to assigned brand/category
  • Write POVs and evaluate new media types / outlets
  • May oversee the work of regional teams or other capabilities
  • Manage daily client interaction, status, and project management
  • Assist Media Director in advising clients on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
  • Lead, if appropriate, face-to-face client and vendor meetings
  • Build relationships with internal and external teams and set good example for associate level

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of communications/media planning experience
  • Knowledge of MediaTools, Prisma, or similar tools
  • Experience with Digital Media Activation
  • Experience with integrated media planning with a focus on digital media
  • Experience researching and ability to relate results to client business objectives

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors includ ing relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
