Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated R Shiny Developer to join our dynamic team. As an R Shiny Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining interactive web applications using R and Shiny. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role will allow you to demonstrate critical thinking and creativity, and you will need to debug and troubleshoot issues in applications and provide timely resolutions. 

• Excellent R programming skills and experience in Shiny web app development.
• Strong technical documentation skills and working knowledge of Agile projects.
• Experience with deploying Shiny applications using Shinyapps, RStudio Connect, or similar cloud platforms.
• A demonstrated end to end project experience.  
• Worked on R packages like Data.Table, dplyr, tidyr, Ggplot2 among others.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Experience in developing modular code, utilizing reactiveValues, and employing parallel processing methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of web application security principles.
• Familiarity with integration of databases and use of SQL in R environment.
