Join a startup-minded squad within Dailymotion on a mission to build THE next big social app.
Our team is composed of 3 Android engineers, 3 iOS engineers, and 2 Python backend developers, all working together at high velocity to crack the code of tomorrow's social platform. You'll be joining the Android team of 3, where extreme ownership, rapid iteration, and smart decision-making are at the core of everything we do.
This isn't about executing tickets. You'll co-create the product alongside Design, QA, and Product teams, building an Android experience used by millions of users where every millisecond and animation matters.
🎯 Your Mission
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Android features in a high-impact, fast-paced environment
- Drive features end-to-end with full ownership: from technical design to deployment and business impact measurement
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, iOS, and Backend teams in a strong team-first culture to ship world-class features
- Own app performance and stability, proactively resolving issues and continuously optimizing the experience
- Be a driver of engineering and product culture, pushing the entire team toward excellence and sharing best practices
Continuously innovate on our Android tech stack and explore AI opportunities to enhance the user experience
Qualifications
✅ Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience with strong mastery of modern architectures and engineering best practices
- Proven track record building high-traffic B2C apps (ideally social, media, or entertainment)
- Product mindset: genuine passion for crafting exceptional user experiences (smooth animations, polished interfaces)
- Data-driven approach: you make decisions based on metrics and analytics
- Pragmatic and results-oriented: you know how to find smart shortcuts to maximize business impact without sacrificing quality
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) / French is a plus
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience integrating AI/ML features into mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of modern frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Architecture Components
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Rapid iteration culture and continuous shipping mindset
- Contributions to open-source projects or tech leadership in Android communities
- Interest in social app trends and understanding of user behaviors

Interview process
- HR Interview with Marvin (30 min): Get to know each other, discuss your motivations, and align on role expectations
Manager Interview with Antoine, your future manager (45 min): Deep dive into the role requirements, assess your technical background and problem-solving approach, and challenge your skills through concrete scenarios
Technical Case Study (1 hour) : Work on a take-home case study followed by a presentation to Raphaël and a team member, this gives you a chance to showcase your technical thinking and understand what you'd be working on, while helping us evaluate the fit with our needs
