Job Description

Crown is seeking a Software Developer who has a strong work ethic and analytical skills. Candidates with a background in programing including Java, Docker, and NGINX are encouraged to apply. The candidate will primarily be responsible for:

  • Apply computer science and systems analysis knowledge, concepts and techniques to develop and apply solutions
  • Use scientific and engineering logic to create conceptual and theoretical solutions to problems of computer hardware, software and operation
  • Develop alternative approaches to design, test and evaluation techniques, evaluates and recommends the optimum solutions, while balancing specific project needs with economic constraints
  • Formulate architectural designs, functional specifications, interfaces for computer system, while considering system interrelationships, operating modes, and equipment configurations
  • Lead overall performance of the task, and working closely with the support staff to ensure performance and compliance with project requirements
  • Support and provide skilled, qualified resources in support of the task, as directed 

Qualifications

  • 3-12 years of desired experience
  • Excellent work experience with Java SW Development
  • Excellent hands on experience of: Java, JEE, Spring, Postgres SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Desire hands on Angular developer, with experience using Karma/Protractor for Unit Test creation
  • Desire hands on Developer with experience in Selenium and Protractor on large scale development efforts who practice Continue Development/Continuous Integration
  • Hands on experience of: Design and develop Automated Testing scripts using shell scripts (bash/sh, sed, awk), Selenium, Cucumber, UFT, SoapUI
  • Oracle and Postgres Database usage and access
  • Strong working knowledge of: rest services environments such as RESTful APIs and JSON Knowledge of: testing frameworks and tools such as Junit, Mockito, including defect tracking and management
  • Hands on experience with: DevOps and CI/CD tools integration - JIRA, Maven, BitBucket, Docker, SonarQube, Eclipse, etc
  • Desire Hands on experience with: Docker, NAGIOS, NGINX
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail
