Job Description

The Proposal Writer will collaborate with the VP of BizDev to plan responses, coordinate teaming, and work with Crown technical leads to prepare various proposals (RFI/RFP responses, multi-award vehicle responses, etc.). Using a high degree of autonomy, you excel at writing, editing and coordinating bid proposals. This position requires exceptional time-management, attention to detail, planning, and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business development and contracts teams to understand proposal requirements and develop strategy for the proposal response 
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; collects and communicates risks associated with proposals 
  • Meet all proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals 
  • Work effectively with internal subject matter experts to develop consistent, compelling responses to satisfy proposal requirements 
  • Coordinate final production and delivery of completed proposal response 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent  
  • Track record of developing bid responses with demonstrated experience working with minimal direction
  • Experience working with primary clients at FAA and NASA 
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing federal support contracts 
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
