Job Description

We are looking for a driven Marketing Specialist who can help expand the Crown brand, drive industry thought leadership and support business development functions. This role will help to execute and grow corporate visibility and outreach campaigns/programs in order to improve overall external communications and generate demand to meet business objectives. Working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, you will be responsible for content writing and editing, preparation of presentations, organizing and managing webinars and events, managing web presence and raising brand awareness. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Vice President of Business Development. 

Responsibilities

  • Create, produce, and send email marketing and social media campaigns for content distribution
  • Campaign ideation, project management and implementation of marketing programs
  • Plan and organize webinars and events; attend trade shows and conferences 
  • Assist in analyzing marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Assist in tracking and optimizing marketing budgets
  • Oversee internal marketing efforts
  • Build and maintain a robust list of corporate contacts
  • Prepare presentations and pitch decks for senior staff

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or relevant field
  • 2-4 years of government and/or B2B marketing experience 
  • High degree of proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  • Work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality results
  • Analytical and comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Extreme attention to detail with respect to writing accuracy, grammatical correctness, etc
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of Wordpress, Photoshop, Indesign, and/or HTML is a plus
