Job Description

The candidate will support the FAA as an Administrative Assistant providing office-oriented, clerical, and other administrative duties. The candidate will:

  • provide data entry and regular cyclical report generation and distribution;
  • interface with and support operational personnel to meet established deadlines;  
  • support management and staff in scheduling and coordination of meetings/activities associated with team activities;
  • ensure proper filing, coordination, tracking, signatures and distribution of various documents and materials the organization produces.  

The position is on site with telecommuting at the discretion of the government.

Qualifications

Key Skills  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products 
  • Providing direct support to manager responsible for a multi-faceted team  
  • Task Oriented self-starter 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage change  

Desired Skills  

  • Knowledge of and experience with SharePoint  
  • Experience supporting the FAA  
  • Ability to draft, edit, and finalize white papers, and to provide status updates, regulatory guidance, responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for Executive review and action 
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in business, management or accounting (high school diploma/GED is required)

Required

  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
