Job Description

We are looking for a Proposal & Business Development Manager who will help to execute capture strategies to secure new and/or re-compete contracts. The Proposal & Business Development Manager will report to the Vice President of Business Development. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with proposal/capture teams on win theme development, solutions development, competitive assessment, teaming strategies, pricing strategy recommendations, communications plans, action plans and execution plans
  • Assist Business Development VP and Account Teams to develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners
  • Support management of effective execution of capture pursuits, tracked performance to cost and schedule and communicated status to leadership
  • Successfully support multiple capture teams that include leadership team, corporate support functions, technical staff and consultants
  • Manage B&P costs and leading multiple opportunities towards a high win probability
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing projects including content library (press releases, newsletters, etc), company media, and inventory management of promotional materials
  • Develop and oversee marketing strategies, market research, MARCOM purchasing, and tradeshows

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in government consulting
  • Experience working with primary clients at FAA and NASA
  • Preferred experience with infrastructure project tactical selling
  • Ability to help write proposals; some experience with proposal and capture management
  • Understanding of Shipley capture approach and SB growth strategies
