Job Description

The Regional EVM Analyst is responsible for analyzing and tracking site installation status for projects in AZ, CA and NV. On a daily basis the Analyst works closely with Site Engineers to provide Variance Reports and Analysis, based on any Schedule Variance or Cost Variance that may exist. The Analyst coordinates with contractors and reports monthly actual costs. She/he will also be responsible for estimating future site costs and durations to establish Performance Measurement Baseline. She/he calculates actual costs and measures against established waterfall goals and Baseline. This information is used to generate Earned Value Metrics and is reported to a Program Office on a monthly basis. This position requires frequent contact with professionals and others within the establishment, including the Installation Crews in the field to ensure all necessary work is planned, communicated, and tracked to ensure all the projects/services have been successfully accomplished. The Analyst will closely track and report schedule and cost status, including estimated start and finish dates, actual start and finish dates, percent complete, and fully burdened actual costs. The Analyst will forecast cost and schedule estimates at complete (EAC) and re-plan as required. She/he will provide financial management support regarding actions related to projects, contributing to and preparing presentations for national meetings.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Accounting
  • At least 2 (two) years of EVM experience
  • Team player with ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability create presentations and present on status of projects
  • The ability to think critically, and determine the root cause of any variances
  • Must be able to pass government background check
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to interview and work in Ontario, California
  • Must possess a valid, current drivers license
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Accounting
  • Experience working with Government Contracts
  • Experience working with multiple projects at one time
  • A working knowledge of the FAA and its accounting systems
  • A PMP Certificate
  • Experience with Delphi or OBIEE or similar accounting systems
