Job Description

Working as a member of the team and under supervision of senior engineers: design and deploy high-fidelity air traffic simulations using simulation software like the ATTower® Tower Simulator to design a turnkey solution to replace traditional ATC towers with Remote Digital Towers (RDT). Human factors testing for RDT design configurations. Experiment development and content creation for criterion-related validation studies to evaluate a proposed change within the National Airspace System in the use of Human-in-the-Loop simulations including the Tower Simulation-Based Performance Measure as part of the General Air Traffic and Technical Operations Research project. Develop scale drawings, make hardware recommendations for four HFE studies, and analyze human performance data for aptitude assessments in mission- and safety-critical occupations such as ATC Specialist. Prepare simulations for Quality Assurance and performance tuning. Test prototype GUI and network architecture for application optimization. Document methodologies for enhanced supportability and scalability of customer solutions with continuous test-driven development.

Master of Science degree in Aeronautics Science
