Job Description

Position provides expertise in NAS Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) systems to FAA's Service Integrity Risk Assessment Process (SIRAP) with principal role involving:

1. Performing data and systems analyses to address safety risks in Air Traffic Technical Operations.

2. Analyzing incident causal factors for reporting on air traffic technical operations.

3. Assembling information and data to perform trend and other analyses.

4. Supporting implementation and management of Service Integrity safety risk analysis processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Mathematics, Science (preferred)
  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

Must possess, at a minimum, ten years of hands-on:

1. Experience in NAS Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) systems. Hands-on experience may be obtained through prior FAA, military, or private sector experience.

2. Experience as a certified Technical Operations Airways Transportation Specialist or military equivalent.

3. Technical Operational Supervisory/Management experience and an active and/or current certification as PMP or Certified Associate in Project Management (CaPM).
