Job Description

Crown is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer who will define and develop program requirements solutions for a mission support program to include all aspects of performance, quality, life cycle costs, maintainability, reliability, scheduling, and future growth requirements. Requirements configuration management will also fall under the Systems Engineer duties.  The Systems Engineer will provide services in support of a mission support program for Flight Standards Service (activities for system safety development and implementation). 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • BS/BA in engineering, math, or science with 15 years of related experience
  • Experience in full-life cycle requirements management 
  • Proven understanding of requirements management issues with the ability to develop cost-effective solutions
  • The technical skills to implement technical strategies
  • Familiar with the IT testing and evaluation process and best practices
  • The ability to evaluate products and provide technical feedback
  • Must have demonstrated experience in QA/QC
  • Business Process Reengineering (BPR) experience
  • Experience working with senior management and policy
  • The ability to facilitate technical meetings.
  • Competent in MS office products, including SharePoint and Project
  • Experience with Visio
  • Public Trust clearance is required for this position 


DESIRED:

  • Experience or domain knowledge of FAA Acquisition Management System requirements
  • Familiar with FAA investment programs, especially safety programs either in ATO or AVS
  • Working knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) concepts, policy and processes
  • Competent to work independently
