Job Description

Crown Consulting, Inc./C2-Innovations is currently looking for a Recruiter/Human Resources Manager in the greater Bay area. The Recruiter/HR Manager responsibilities will include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles, building a strong tech talent pipeline while hiring and retaining skilled employees, and providing a full range of human resources services that include managing staff-related HR issues, policies, programs and procedures.

Qualifications

 

  • Write and post technical and nontechnical job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
  • Coordinate with team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Compose job offer letters
  • Onboard new hires
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products

Requirements

  • BS in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree
  • 5 years proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain technical job requirements
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions
  • Assist with other Human Resources functions when needed
  • Conduct exit interviews, providing feedback to management when necessary
  • Demonstrated strong judgment and sound decision-making
