Job Description

Crown is seeking a Jr. Accountant who will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The candidate will have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Input, maintain and pay vendor invoices
  • Verify approved employee expense vouchers and pay
  • Check for monthly recurring vendor invoices - Review and maintain Accounts Payable Aging
  • Process and prepare all monthly client invoices
  • Reconcile and tracking A/R
  • Prepare 1099 and other annual reporting requirements
  • General Ledger reconciliation and journal entry preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate for this position will work at our HQ office in Arlington, VA conveniently located across the river from Washington DC. Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with others
  • Strong organizational skills and key attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite  (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • UNANET accounting system and ADP payroll experience a plus
