Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the most effective ways of educating consumers and evangelize education throughout the organization.
  • Direct the consumer educational strategy
  • Work cross-functionally to iterate on the post-purchase content strategy for Video (YT, Site, DS), FB, OOB, IG, Email, Social Paid, DS
  • Leverage consumer journey research to define content strategies across channels
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of each channel’s educational tactics
  • Work cross functionally with Product Teams to understand product roadmap. Develop the strategy to educate consumers post-purchase for each new product.
  • Direct and Manage the Consumer Education Team.
  • Monitor, track and respond to Educational questions on Cricut® social platforms and Cricut® Groups.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree is required (education major with some marketing and business coursework preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of crafting and Cricut® products.
  • At least 5-7 years of online education and social platforms
  • Experience in consumer electronics a plus
  • Passion for innovation – a strong track record of delivering innovative education experiences
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Passion for the consumer – desire to really get to know the consumer, translating the consumer needs into education requirements and experiences
  • Excellent communication skills – demonstrated use of written, presentation and verbal skills to drive team enthusiasm for products and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Working at all levels – proven ability to drive strategic thinking about the product direction as well as focus on the executional details
  • Team player – build strong relationships with the cross-functional team while serving as the team lead to drive results
  • Data-driven decisions – know how to get and analyze data to make business decisions, balancing thoughtful research with the need for timeliness
