We have an urgent requirement for a 

QA Portfolio Manager

This is a Permanent position based in Scarborough, ON 

Role: QA Portfolio Manager

Location: Scarborough, ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience of 12 + years of in managing Testing projects in Banking Domain.

• Experience in providing Estimates, Preparing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Closure Reports

• Manage and enable a team of QA Analysts, delivering quality, on-time, and on-budget

• Manage the day-to-day aspects of multiple testing projects; requirements analysis, planning, test engineering, and implementation

• Be responsible for demonstrating leadership to prevent or eliminate defects in the products to satisfy their valued customers with timely and quality releases

• Review and update quality standards, ensuring policies and procedures are enforced on all projects

• Implement  and lead industry best practices for Quality Assurance

• Oversee the Defect Triage Process.

• Provide feasible work estimates for all QA activities related to a particular project or individual assignments

• Lead the test plan and test case reviews for assigned projects and participate in required review sessions

• Assign work to team members and optimize resource allocation.  Requires reporting project status in a timely manner, tracking and communicating team capacity

• Track Testing Metrics, Adhering to project KPIs.

• Mentors and motivates QA Analysts

Qualifications:

• Must have a University Degree - Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent preferred

• Must be performance driven, detail and results-oriented

• Must have excellent leadership, time management, communication, organizational and decision making skills

• Thorough understanding of, and experience with, testing methodologies and Issue/Bug tracking tools

• Complete understanding of configuration and release management

• Experience with bug detection, reporting, tracking and triage and project/management reporting of defect rates, quality measures compliance etc.

• Capable of motivating and managing a team of 30 QA Analysts.
