Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Corporate Climate Action to join our Corporate Sustainability Consulting Team. As a rapidly growing service line, you will play a key role in embedding sustainability advisory services to our offerings to international, regional, and local clients.
This is a diverse role with many potential opportunities to technically support clients in their sustainability journey. The position will also be closely involved in a leadership role to drive consistency, excellence and continuous improvement in our consultancy services, product development, methodologies, team development and external partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Undertake carbon foot printing, GHG inventory assessments, reporting and develop key tracking metrics
- Develop strategies for Carbon Neutrality and guide corporates towards a Net Zero strategy
- Ensure all climate related disclosures and targets align with external frameworks such as GRI, SBTs, SASB, and TCFD
- Lead annual responses to DJSI, CDP, Sustainalytics, MSCI, and other rating and ranking entities
- Stay informed on reporting trends, stakeholder expectations, and emerging rating/ranking entities
- Manage and supervise complex consulting mandates in a multi-stakeholder and geographical context
- Plan and deliver highest quality projects with close oversight on the entire process
- Plan and be responsible for key deliverables, deadlines hold internal and external stakeholders accountable
- Implement new database to collect ESG data, manage dashboards and data visualization
- Identify and proactively look for new business opportunities, develop proposals and client outreach
Qualifications
- University degree, ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Business, or a sustainability related field
- At least 7 years or more experience in sustainability consulting or related field
- Knowledge in GHG accounting, target setting, climate scenario analysis, corporate sustainability strategy and reporting is required
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Excellent writing skills and expertise in reviewing proposals and deliverables
- Excellent commercial skills to be able to win opportunities in a competitive market
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international multicultural environment
- Skilled in using Google Workspaces and MS office applications
