Job Description

As product manager you will be part of the product management team within the central Marketing & Strategy function. You are enabling profitable and sustainable sales and growth by holistic steering todays and future portfolio of products and services.

Your tasks:
▪ development and implementation of the product strategy for your dedicated product groups (ContiTech BA Industrial Solutions EMEA)
▪ product portfolio management under lifecycle and profitability aspects (launch, in-market-phase, end-of-Life, setting of strategic price points, create product training materials, product business performance)
▪ driving the organization to implement the product portfolio and roadmap in the most profitable way
▪ identifying and developing current and future value-selling opportunities
▪ Management of Product Master Data for product information management (PIM), product hierarchy and input for marketing activities (e.g. catalogues, trainings)
▪ identifying and analyzing specific markets, trends and evolving customer needs
▪ support the creation, decision-making and execution of business cases for new business opportunities▪ definition of product requirements for customers, internal interfaces, and suppliers

Qualifications

▪ Bachelor or Masters degree in Economics, Economical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
▪ 3+ years professional experience in a B2B environment in at least one of the following functional areas: Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Development/Application Engineering or Project Management
▪ Experienced in industrial products, especially in the rubber area and hydraulic industry
▪ Proven project management and project leadership experience
▪ Proven ability to successfully work in highly diverse global teams
▪ Good organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills

Intercultural/International Experience:

▪ Excellent multicultural communication and networking skills
▪ Language skills: highly proficient user of English language (written & spoken), advanced German language skills
▪ Flexibility and willingness for domestic and international business travels
