We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Constance Halaveli, our luxury resort in the Maldives. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and garment care for our guests. This position requires someone who is organised, efficient, and committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced hospitality environment. • Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing machines, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols

• Sort, wash, dry, and iron guest linens, uniforms, and other textiles according to established quality standards and fabric care requirements • Inspect garments and linens for stains, damage, and wear, applying appropriate stain removal techniques and reporting items requiring repair or replacement
• Manage laundry inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of clean linens and uniforms are maintained throughout the resort • Fold, press, and package laundered items neatly and efficiently, ready for distribution to guest rooms and departmental areas • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and maintenance of a clean and organised laundry facility
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet laundry deadlines and respond to urgent requests • Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisory staff promptly • Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and any items requiring special attention • Support the laundry team during peak periods and assist with additional duties as required

• Proven experience in laundry operations or a similar housekeeping role within a hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in operating industrial laundry equipment and understanding various fabric types and care requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads safely.
• Knowledge of stain removal techniques and garment care best practices.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and chemical handling procedures.
• Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work shifts as required by resort operations.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a luxury resort or five-star hotel environment.
• Desirable: Basic understanding of laundry management systems or inventory control.
