Job Description
- Spearhead the management and implementation of Human Resources Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Tools for your designated mill.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to tailor organizational HR policies to the mill's specific context, ensuring they're both adequate and well-understood by staff.
- Conduct on-site employee training, facilitating the development and execution of suitable HR management responses, including plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in departmental activities, aiming for continuous education, engagement in annual conferences, and research activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not mandatory; 5+ years in Human Resources Management essential.
- HR Professional Certification (SPHR) or SHRM-SPC is a plus.
- Multi-site HR management experience is highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication skills and professional presence.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, with a generalist background.
- Proficient with MS Office and experience with HRIS, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
- 5+ years of Human Resources Manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
