This structured programme focuses on the completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for a Commercial pathway.

Graduate Surveyors will benefit from having an opportunity to build their experience across a wide range of services and specialisations that will help them gain a better understanding of the commercial real estate industry as a whole. Initially working in the Out of Town Retail and Automotive and Roadside teams will give the candidate that broad range of experience and based in Bristol.

Responsibilities of a Graduate Surveyor

Professional Work

To provide all members of the Business Group team with support for their professional work. You will be reporting to two Directors and need to be prepared to balance the work between each department.

To undertake all assessment requirements from both Colliers International and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors so that professional accreditation is obtained within the required period.

To conduct professional work for clients, and ensure that all relevant reporting requirements meet agreed deadlines in accordance with RICS regulatory compliance standards, to ensure that work is conducted within Colliers International Best Practice standards. It is preferable that you have a valid Driving Licence and are able to start work as soon as possible.

Client Contact     

To deal with client queries when necessary and ensure they are dealt with in a professional and proactive manner.

To maintain contact with clients and client coordinators so that the client relationship can be managed effectively and efficiently.

Contribution to Financial Targets

To assist the fee earners generate fee income to meet team and Business Group targets, and to provide new ideas for the generation of fee income.

Business Development

To seek opportunities to develop new business, including cross-selling and identification of new business.
