Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and commercially focused Financial Analyst to work directly with one of our clients, this exciting new role will be split in two ways which is outlined below: 

  • 50% - Financial Analyst
    • Support strategic decision-making and business case preparation;
    • Financial analytics to support options comparison/ own vs lease/ transaction financials/ sensitivity analytics
    • Knowledge and experience of Lease accounting (IFRS)
  • 50% Financial Manager as below:
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for RE projects
    • Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial guidelines.
    • Work closely with the project team to create comprehensive financial plans (Budgets and Forecasts), considering all project phases and potential contingencies
    • Manage PO requisition process.
    • Implement robust cost control measures to track project expenditures against the budget.
    • Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions in collaboration with project teams.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports, presenting key cost-related metrics to relevant stakeholders.
    • Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure project financial practices comply with legal requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the whole RE team within the client

Qualifications

  • Prior Experience within a Financial Analysis or Client Accounting role.
  • Proven experience of delivering commercially focused reports.
  • Ability to implement and amend processes to benefit the client.
  • proactive and client focused approach.
  • Highly organised, with a strong ability to work as part of a team. 
  • German speaking is a plus but not essential

Additional Information

  • The role will be based outside of London, in either Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham with the ability to travel to Lincoln 1 day per month!
