Job Description

The person in this position is responsible for designing and developing the company’s UI Frontend and related web services.  This person will work with the UX designer and others in the engineering team to develop and support the company’s UI frontend (per the roadmap) in a timely fashion. More specifically, the person will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the Cinarra product and the various use-cases (esp. as it relates to the UI FE)
  • Gaining a good grasp of the current UI FE arch, stack and related tooling (both dev and test)
  • Development, deployment and testing elements related to the config & reporting screens:
    • Maintenance and enhancement of the existing code base
    • Collaborate, review and provide feedback on backend APIs
    • Work with the Site Reliability (DevOps) team with deployments
  • Provide reasonable estimates for the development activities and strive to meet all deadlines
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies necessary to improve the development process and provide technical recommendations and alternate choices
  • Help with recruitment of talent for the development team - screening, interviewing, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with UI FE development
  • Experience in UI frameworks: React JS (and related tools)
  • Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, REST APIs, etc.
  • Experience with GIT, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience with programming and debugging tools and UI profiling
  • Good communication skills in English (min level - Upper Intermediate)
