Job Description
This is a remote part-time opportunity.
We’re looking for someone who can engage with parents, families, millennials, small businesses, and corporate professionals on Facebook and Instagram, creating authentic connections that enhance our brand visibility. Your responsibilities will include joining relevant Facebook groups, sparking conversations, and engaging with content on Instagram to foster a strong, engaged community.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and join relevant Facebook groups to participate in conversations related to photography, weddings, family milestones, corporate events, and business
- Monitor relevant hashtags and keywords on Instagram to engage with posts and users aligned with our brand
- Create and manage conversations around Cimmaroon Photography’s services to establish our authority as an industry expert and improve our brand recall
- Generate and participate in discussions that align with Cimmaroon Photography’s values and target audience interests.
- Build relationships with relevant influencers, brand ambassadors, and other key community members for future collaborations.
- Organically promote our photography services whenever relevant or applicable, especially to provide value. For example, if a first-time mom asks about the usual inclusions she should look out for if she wants to book a newborn session, then you can use our popular newborn session package as an example.
- Foster a sense of community among followers by creating dialogue around their photography experiences and needs
- Spot and report trends in conversations that could inform content or marketing strategies.
- Facilitate introductions and connections within the community that could lead to business opportunities.
- Track engagement metrics to identify successful outreach strategies and refine tactics accordingly
- Share our content on FB groups to increase engagement on the post
- Identify and reach out to potential clients who match the target audience for our photography services
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align engagement strategies with broader campaigns and promotions
- Assist with creating engagement-focused content suggestions for the marketing team
- Submit a daily report of your progress, including your interactions, a summary of group activities, and potential leads or people who have shown interest in your engagement.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in driving engagement and building communities on Facebook and Instagram HIGHLY preferred
- In-depth knowledge of platform algorithms, engagement strategies, and community-building techniques
- Ability to proactively reach out and engage with potential clients, influencers, and community members on social media
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating personable and compelling interactions
- Knowledge or prior experience working in or with photography, creative industries, or related fields - Optional but PREFERRED
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting on social media engagement metrics
- Ability to craft creative engagement strategies that align with brand goals and resonate with our target audience
- Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms for tracking engagement and scheduling posts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple conversations and engagement activities simultaneously
- Keen awareness of emerging trends in social media and the ability to quickly adapt engagement strategies
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment
- Ability to address challenges and resolve issues creatively in social media interactions
- Ability to work closely with marketing teams to align engagement strategies with broader campaigns
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Additional Information
This is going to be a WFH setup. We'll have a trial run for 1 month focusing on engagement on FB groups, and if the results are good, we're open to exploring other platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn. There's also potential for long-term work if the results are good!
