Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a remote, 18-month contract Product Configuration Analyst.

Job Description

•    Maintains all product configurations logic within the ERP environment
•    Works closely with engineers, finance, material master, IT and business users to develop introduce, improve, and maintain product lines configurations
•    Support and troubleshoot problems related to the Configurator software and ERP/MRP system(s)
•    Provide support to team members on current platforms such as JDE, Cantor, AccuQuote, and other related systems (legacy, current and future)
•    Assists with future upgrades and implementations of new features, modules, updates, etc.
•    Supports development of product configuration and associated interfaces during ERP implementation and for new products
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION

•  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE
•    2-4 years of relevant work experience that demonstrates an ability to problem solve, work with cross-functional teams, and complete projects
•    Previous experience with parametric or options-based product configuration systems highly desired
•    Experience creating and maintaining BOM and understanding of related business impact;
•    General programming experience preferred
•    Experience in manufacturing, engineering or IT roles preferred
 

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
•    Must be able to handle multiple competing demands in a fast-paced work environment
•    Must have exceptional attention to detail, and ability to retain numerical values
•    Must demonstrate an understanding of building products and construction industry, as well as be able to understand manufacturing and technological concepts
•    Ability to communicate well with engineers, sales team, manufacturing personnel, IT, and vendors, in-person or remotely
•    Ability to proactively identify and correct logical errors and inconsistencies in the configurator system
•    Demonstrate a strong desire to continuously improve company products and systems
•    Ability to perform mathematical calculations, with a strong working knowledge of algebra, geometry and trigonometry
•    Must have exceptional overall computer aptitude and typing ability. ERP/MRP software knowledge is preferable
 

TRAVEL

•  Required travel to manufacturing facilities or corporate office as needed, estimated 15%.
