Christian Brothers Automotive Hixson is seeking to welcome experienced A-Level and B-Level Automotive Technicians/Mechanics to a growing team dedicated to serving neighbors through honest, high-quality automotive care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests alongside a great team of techs
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, but not required
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing many makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for growth and long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
