Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Developer Support Specialist to help our development teams get the most out of the tools, pipelines, and services they rely on every day while creating our AAA games.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for developers who need help with our DevOps services and build processes, solving day-to-day technical problems, guiding users through our tools and workflows, and working closely with the DevOps team when more complex issues arise. You will also help us improve the overall developer experience by identifying recurring problems, sharing knowledge, creating documentation, and providing training and onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for developers’ day-to-day questions, technical problems, and help requests related to DevOps services.
- Resolve straightforward issues independently while escalating complex problems to the DevOps team.
- Provide support across the full technology stack, directly and indirectly related to the DevOps services or pipelines.
- Create, maintain, and share documentation (FAQs, guides, best practices) to help development teams work more efficiently.
- Support teams through knowledge-sharing initiatives and proactive guidance.
- Deliver structured reporting to the team on live service problems, recurring incidents, and areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to identify recurring issues, ensuring timely escalation and tracking
- Conduct onboarding for new team members, host public presentations at internal events, and lead training sessions.
Qualifications
- Min. 3 years experience in technical support within DevOps, game development, or software engineering environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based services.
- Hands-on involvement with ticketing systems, knowledge bases, or live service operations.
- Understanding of software development processes, version control systems (Perforce/Git), and build/deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability across diverse tech stacks.
- Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- User-focused mindset with patience and empathy for end users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and work under time pressure
Nice to have
- Experience working in the game development industry or supporting game development teams.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and its development/build ecosystem.
- Experience with Perforce Helix Core in larger development environments.
- Basic scripting or automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or similar.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or comparable issue tracking and documentation platforms.
- Experience investigating CI/CD, build, infrastructure, or distributed system failures using logs and monitoring data.
- Experience creating and delivering technical documentation, training, workshops, or onboarding sessions.
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, including basic system and networking troubleshooting.
- Interest in developer experience (DevEx) and improving tools, processes, and self-service solutions based on recurring user problems.

Estimated pay range for this position: 9 500 - 16 800 PLN gross monthly.
Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
