Job Description
What you’ll be doing
You'll own discovery and roadmap delivery end to end for one or more of Fuse's product areas in and around our auction core, including tooling, workflows, and platform capabilities that publishers and our internal teams rely on every day. That might mean the interfaces publishers use to understand and control their setup, data visualisation and automation for user and customer decision making, or core integrations into our platform to improve monetisation and ad serving.
This is a genuine ownership role. You'll own initiatives outright, including its roadmap, its backlog, user and customer conversations and will be accountable for outcomes. Fuse is a technical product and to make your mark here, you'll need to develop real fluency with the system and ecosystem we operate in. You do not need Adtech experience to apply, but you do need curiosity, strong product fundamentals, and the instinct to tie every piece of work back to what it does for customers and the business.
- Own discovery, prioritisation, and roadmap delivery for your product area, building a coherent, evidence-based roadmap from customer, user, and business needs.
- Turn publisher feedback, internal signals, and support patterns into a scored, prioritised backlog, and make your trade-offs legible to stakeholders.
- Write clear problem statements and specifications that engineers can build from directly, making ambiguous problems unambiguous for the team.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial team through delivery: surface risks early, make pragmatic scope trade-offs, and take shipped work through measurement and iteration.
- Talk to customer and internal users regularly and let what you hear visibly shape the roadmap.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in a product management role with end-to-end ownership of technical products or features.
- A track record of shipping in a technical domain, working closely with engineering.
- Fluent in writing specs, PRDs, or equivalent artefacts that others build from directly.
- Strong product fundamentals: discovery, prioritisation, and roadmap ownership.
- Experience managing products with different levels of customers and users.
- You measure yourself on outcomes, not shipped features - and you instinctively translate ideas into revenue, adoption, retention, or efficiency terms.
- You're energised rather than intimidated by unfamiliar technical systems, and you're comfortable in detailed conversations with Engineers and Data Scientists
- You write sharply, and others have built directly from your specs, PRDs, or equivalent artefacts.
- You're comfortable owning a broad, ambiguous space and creating clarity in it rather than waiting for it.
- You treat AI tooling as leverage in your day-to-day work. Our product workflows are agent-assisted, and you'll extend them rather than resist them.
- Comfort working with data directly, for example in SQL or spreadsheet-level analysis to support your own decisions.
- Experience with operational or internal-facing products, where the user is an expert and the workflows are complex.
We know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If you’re excited about the role and believe you can make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
