The Risk Management function is responsible for supporting and maturing the organisation's risk management framework by identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting key risks. The role partners with leaders and teams to embed effective risk practices into decision-making and day-to-day operations to help achieve strategic objectives.

Job Description
What you’ll be doing
As a Risk Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting key leaders across our global business to manage key risks. You'll work closely with the Global Head of Risk & Audit and play a key role in shaping the risk management function across the CAR Group.
You'll
- Maintain and continuously improve the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, ensuring it reflects changes in the business environment and emerging risk trends.
- Facilitate risk workshops across our global business and support in the identification and assessment of strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks across the organisation.
- Maintain the enterprise risk register, ensuring risks are accurately documented, categorised, and rated. Monitor risk status, track risk owners' progress on mitigation actions, and escalate material risks as required.
- Develop and deliver regular risk reports to the Executive Leadership Team, Risk Committees, and Board. Provide meaningful insights on risk trends, emerging risks, and the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive efficiencies through the use of automation and AI to support in the monitoring and reporting of risk data points and insights.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support crisis management initiatives.
- Champion a proactive risk culture across the organisation by developing training programs, communications, and tools that enhance risk awareness and embed risk thinking into everyday business decisions.
- Continuously scan the external environment for emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry developments. Assess potential impacts on the organisation and provide timely recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings a strategic and curious mindset, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to risk.
- Proven experience maintaining and evolving an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework in a complex organisation
- Demonstrated capability facilitating risk workshops and partnering with leaders to identify and assess strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Strong risk reporting and storytelling skills, including experience preparing concise insights for senior leadership, risk committees, and/or boards
- Experience managing risk registers and action tracking, including monitoring mitigation progress and escalating material risks when required
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, with an ability to use data, automation and/or AI to improve risk monitoring and reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of embedding risk thinking into everyday decision-making
- Familiarity with crisis management and/or business continuity concepts, with the ability to support response planning and coordination
- Awareness of emerging risks and regulatory change, with the ability to translate external developments into practical recommendations
- Experience in technology-led environments (e.g. digital, platforms, or product-based businesses), with exposure to areas such as cyber, privacy or AI risk strongly regarded
