This is your opportunity to join carsales as a Key Account Manager.  The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in establishing, maintaining and growing carsales’ relationships with media (and other) agencies to deliver business outcomes.  If you are a results driven team player, then we want you to represent carsales to drive revenue growth across the state.

Reporting through to a Client Service Director, this is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and build a strong understanding of the auto, finance and insurance industries whilst partaking in product development and solution selling.

Job Description

What’ll you’ll be doing

  • Develop relationships with agency stakeholders to deliver advertising solutions based on revenue generating ideas/opportunities in answer to a marketing challenge or brief.
  • Communicate, listen, present and negotiate. You will demonstrate ease at dealing with trading directors, planners or buyers alike.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales coordinators and campaign managers to ensure that every client campaign is delivered, and advertiser expectations are met.
  • Utilise your networking skills to develop and grow sustainable and authentic relationships in order to help generate and maximise business.
  • Build your knowledge of carsales network marketing suite of solutions in order to be able to simply explain how they may be specifically relevant to the client and the objectives of the campaign.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for?

  • Strong understanding of the marketing and media landscape, preferably with media agency/media sales experience.
  • An understanding of the media sales process including traditional media and/or online is required.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced highly changing marketplace and be driven to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication, including the delivery of presentations.
  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
