We help parents find the right child care or preschool program, by providing all the information in one place (photos, program information, cost, verified reviews, etc.) CareLuLu also helps child care programs grow their business while saving time for what truly matters: children!

CareLuLu raised VC funding from Khosla Ventures, Crunchfund and 500 Startups and quickly turned into a profitable, fast-growing company! We're now entering the next phase of growth for our business, and we're growing the engineering team to accelerate our product development.

We're looking for full-stack developers to join our small awesome development team! As a full-stack developer, you’ll be a key team member impacting all layers of our stack (back-end and front-end). We prefer someone with 2+ years of experience but will also consider a recent graduate with relevant experience. The main requirement is that you’re hard-working, you get things done and you have a self-starter "owner" mentality. In short, you're AWESOME!

- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with MySQL and relational databases
- Experience with Nodejs and javascript promises or async/await functions
- Experience with React or React Native
- Be a true full-stack web developer (can build a full web app and API servers from scratch)
- Owner mentality: you’re self-motivated, set your own goals & deliver results working independently
- Be entrepreneurial and comfortable with change. You always offer ideas for improvement
- Work hours: ideally EST (Washington, DC) but could be partially adjusted for the right candidate

Not required, but a plus:
- Experience with AWS, react-native-web, Koajs framework, Apollo GraphQL

Compensation/Benefits

Benefits include a work-from-home setting (no more commute!) and a competitive salary based on experience.
