Canva is seeking a highly motivated IT/AV Support Engineer to join our China IT Operations team (Beijing) to support Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives!

You’ll be hands-on with campus technology, events, hardware, and user experience, while contributing to a globally distributed IT operations team focused on continuous improvement and automation.

Job Description

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Provide high-quality on-site and remote technical support to Canvanauts across China.

  • Deliver AV and event technology support for in-person, hybrid, and remote events — including gathering technical requirements and partnering with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

  • Support and troubleshoot all on-site hardware including MacBooks, mobile devices, network infrastructure, printers, and video conferencing systems.

  • Manage Canva China hardware assets, including procurement, vendor coordination, provisioning, inventory accuracy, and lifecycle management.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding across China, including hardware preparation, account provisioning, and access de-provisioning.

  • Contribute to our global support model by responding to service requests across multiple service channels, with a focus on supporting users in China.

  • Contribute to Global IT Operations and IT Supergroup goals to continuously improve service delivery, automation, and user experience.

Qualifications

What You'll Have (Skills)

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (essential) - you’ll collaborate daily with global teams.

  • Demonstrated experience providing in-person IT support in an enterprise environment.

  • Experience supporting Apple / Mac devices.

  • Experience supporting collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence).

  • Experience supporting event technology (video conferencing, audio, hybrid setups).

  • Exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes and access provisioning.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A proactive mindset - you don’t wait to be told what’s broken.
