Frequency Lead, Brazil

  • Full-time

Company Description

Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role, we’re focusing on Sao Paulo so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Defining and leading the strategy for your growth vertical in Brazil, aligned with country-level growth objectives.

  • Translating market insights and performance data into clear priorities and actionable execution plans.

  • Partnering across Product, Marketing, Content, Community, Lifecycle, and other business areas to drive coordinated outcomes.

  • Identifying and prioritising the highest-impact growth levers within your vertical, ensuring initiatives focus on measurable results.

  • Establishing success metrics, tracking performance, and continuously refining strategy based on outcomes.

  • Contributing to broader country priorities, stepping into cross-functional initiatives where acceleration or additional leadership is needed.

You're probably a match if

  • You have owned a meaningful business metric or growth area before — and you can clearly articulate the measurable impact you drove.

  • You use data to make decisions, not just to validate them. You’re comfortable making trade-offs and prioritisation calls based on commercial and analytical judgment.

  • You influence without authority. You know how to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals, even when you don’t manage them directly.

  • You can zoom out to shape strategy and zoom in to drive execution. You’re as comfortable defining direction as you are rolling up your sleeves to make progress happen.

  • You operate well in ambiguity. Fast-moving environments energise you, and you can make thoughtful decisions without perfect information.

  • You communicate clearly in both English and Portuguese, engaging confidently with local and global stakeholders.

  • You’re motivated by Canva’s mission and care about building durable, long-term impact in Brazil.

About the team

You’ll join Canva’s International supergroup — a distributed team of marketers, strategists, and growth leaders focused on expanding Canva’s presence across key global markets. The team partners closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, Lifecycle, Content, Community, Finance, and Strategy to drive sustainable user growth and long-term business outcomes internationally.

In Brazil, you’ll work closely with the Country Manager and global stakeholders to shape priorities, allocate focus, and ensure initiatives deliver tangible impact in one of Canva’s most important international markets.
