Job Description
BryceTech is seeking an experienced Training Manager to support U.S. Space Force organizations in El Segundo, California. The Training Manager will manage and support training programs designed to develop workforce capabilities, improve organizational performance, and ensure personnel are prepared to execute mission requirements. The position will assess training needs, develop and coordinate training plans and materials, manage training schedules and resources, and evaluate training effectiveness. The Training Manager will work closely with Government leadership, subject matter experts, program offices, and mission partners to ensure training initiatives align with organizational priorities and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, development, coordination, and execution of training programs supporting Government and mission requirements
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify capability, knowledge, and performance gaps
- Develop and maintain training plans, curricula, lesson materials, instructor guides, job aids, and other training products
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and Government stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with mission requirements
- Develop and maintain training schedules, calendars, delivery plans, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate instructors, facilities, technology, materials, and other resources required to execute training activities
- Support the development and delivery of instructor-led, virtual, and blended training programs
- Develop training communications, announcements, guidance, and other materials to support participation and program awareness
- Monitor training participation, completion, and performance metrics and develop reports and dashboards to communicate program status
- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, performance data, and other appropriate measures
- Identify opportunities to improve training content, delivery methods, processes, and overall program effectiveness
- Maintain accurate training records, rosters, course materials, and program documentation
- Coordinate with Government organizations, contractors, and mission partners to identify training requirements and resolve scheduling or execution issues
- Prepare briefings, reports, presentations, and other products for senior Government leadership
- Ensure training materials and activities comply with applicable Government policies, security requirements, and organizational standards
- Handle sensitive and classified information in accordance with applicable security procedures
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and other Government-approved tools to develop, manage, and report on training activities
- Perform other training management and program support duties as required to support the mission
Qualifications
- Active DoW Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; master’s degree desired
- Minimum 15 years of experience in human resources, information technology/telecommunications, cybersecurity, training and development, or related areas, with experience supporting organizations in a SCIF environment; NRO, NSA, and/or NGA experience acceptable
- Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and executing training and development activities for personnel within a unit or organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execute multiple internal projects, including responding to workflow taskers and summarizing large volumes of programmatic and acquisition-related information
- Demonstrated ability to receive, process, track, coordinate, organize, and securely maintain large volumes of program-critical information
- Experience coordinating and organizing geographically dispersed personnel and teams to support mission requirements
- Experience developing and managing training plans, curricula, lesson materials, instructor guides, job aids, schedules, and other training resources
- Ability to assess training needs, identify knowledge and performance gaps, and translate organizational requirements into effective training solutions
- Experience coordinating instructors, subject matter experts, Government stakeholders, and other mission partners to plan and execute training activities
- Experience managing training schedules, resources, rosters, records, course materials, and completion documentation
- Experience evaluating training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, performance data, and other measures and using results to improve training programs
- Knowledge of Air Force records management requirements and practices; Air Force records management certification required
- Knowledge of and experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS) to support official Government travel requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings, reports, correspondence, training materials, and other executive-level products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with geographically dispersed teams, leadership, subject matter experts, and mission partners
- Ability to handle sensitive and classified information with appropriate discretion and security awareness
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, classified environment supporting U.S. Space Force mission requirements
