Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a Project / Process Improvement Analyst to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with project coordination, process improvement, business analysis, and operational support activities. The Project / Process Improvement Analyst will assist with planning and executing projects, analyzing existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of solutions that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating projects, documenting and analyzing business processes, tracking milestones and deliverables, and working with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, status reports, and other project management artifacts
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure activities remain aligned with established objectives and timelines
  • Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps and workflow documentation
  • Facilitate process improvement discussions, working sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions
  • Assist with identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvement recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and performance monitoring
  • Develop standard operating procedures, process documentation, job aids, guidance, and other operational materials
  • Track and report project and process improvement performance metrics
  • Prepare project status reports, executive briefings, presentations, dashboards, and other management products
  • Assist with identifying and documenting project risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate information and deliverables across multiple teams, programs, and stakeholders
  • Support change management activities associated with new processes, systems, policies, or organizational initiatives
  • Analyze project and operational data to identify trends and inform management decisions
  • Maintain organized project and process documentation and ensure deliverables are complete and up to date
  • Support quality assurance and review of project deliverables and process improvement products
  • Assist with developing implementation plans and tracking execution of approved recommendations
  • Perform other related duties in support of CDC program and operational objectives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, public administration, organizational development, operations management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience supporting project management, business analysis, process improvement, management analysis, or related activities
  • Experience supporting projects from planning through implementation
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports
  • Experience analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows
  • Experience developing process maps, standard operating procedures, or other process documentation
  • Experience gathering requirements and working with stakeholders to identify business needs
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop clear, concise written and visual products for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other federal agencies
  • Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with business process reengineering or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience developing process maps using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Experience developing dashboards or performance metrics using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation or change management initiatives
  • PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition, grants, cooperative agreements, or other government program-management processes
  • Master's degree in business administration, public administration, management, organizational development, or a related discipline
