Job Description
BryceTech is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting a Navy acquisition office, ensuring mission-critical programs stay on track and on budget. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with program leadership, managing financial operations that drive innovation and readiness for the fleet.
The candidate will be at the financial core of Navy acquisitions, ensuring that cutting-edge programs are funded, executed, and optimized for success, contributing to the Navy’s financial strategy, cost analysis, and fiscal efficiency.
The candidate will:
- Manage and oversee funding lines, budgeting, and financial planning to support high-priority acquisition programs.
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis, ensuring financial decisions are data-driven and strategically aligned.
- Support the President’s Budget Request process, tracking obligations and expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
- Provide financial oversight, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all financial activities.
- Develop high-impact reports and manage financial documentation to support procurement and program execution.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing training and ensuring quality across all financial operations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business management or related field
- 8 years of experience in financial management
- At least 2 recent years supporting DoD or component Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR)
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with SBIR/STTR Program policies, statutes, and regulations
- Experience conducting cost estimates, financial analysis of programs, and cost reporting.
- Familiarity with DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Planning Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process
- Experience with Navy’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and conducting contracting actions.
- Must have experience across all SBIR phases and providing acquisition planning consistent with statuary requirements.
- Excellent communication sills (written and verbal) to a wide range of audiences through multiple media
- Proven attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality, error free product
- Ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
